Do you wanna date with Shelob, the evil female giant spider from Terech Ungol? I don’t know about you but I would certainly go on a date with her, especially after seeing her new sexy form in the latest Middle Earth: Shadow of War trailer.
News from the Middle Earth is just getting better and better.
We all loved Shadow of Mordor(except the somewhat weak ending of course). And we all love the awesome Talkeinian Universe. But, to our delight, Monolith Production have contributed some new lore and characters to the amazing Middle Earth through Shadow of War.
Let’s find out what we know about some of the unique new facts about Middle Earth: Shadow of War and why this game will be absolutely outstanding.
Your old enemies will be back
Good news or bad news? If that happens in real life than it’s the worst thing you want, but in the Middle Earth? It’s definitely awesome. Too many old grudges to settle, too many memories to recall. If you have had some unforgettable love-hate relationship with an Uruk in Shadow of Mordor, just export him via nemesis forge game mode to the Shadow of War and continue the story with him. And the same way you can bring back your most loyal follower too. He will fight for you many epic and glorious battles in Shadow of War.
Shelob is a damn hot chick
Oh, yeah! Baby! Don’t care what that evil thing was which attacked Frodo and Samwise below Cirith Ungol, but if I have to carry a ring and pass through a gorgeous lady’s layer, sign me up at any day. Someone might see it as a lore-breaking, but Tolkien never clearly mentioned that Shelob is an arachnid by DNA. According to Tolkien, she is an evil thing in Spider form. That allows a plenty of room to create new lore about her. And in the Shadow of War, she will take a major role in the story. Don’t get your hope too high though, unlike many other RPGs, Middle Earth series doesn’t have a romance option. Moreover, you have to fight with her freakin’ spider form at some point of the game.
We might find the Entwives in Shadow of War
In one of the recent gameplay videos, they showed us a mysterious tree lady who possesses the ability to manipulate the nature, shapeshift of various monstrous animals. She doesn’t look evil though and she could be a potential ally to the protagonist in the game. Developers named her “The spirit of Carnan”. Could she be one of the long-disappeared Entwives? Or, at least could she be ‘Fimbrethil’, the beloved wife of mighty ‘Treebeard’? Could someone bear the good news and show the video to him for confirmation?
Plenty of nemesis fortress to laying siege in Shadow of War
The best thing about Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor was the nemesis system. Now we are getting nemesis fortresses in the Middle Earth: Shadow of War which can be conquered by the players by a “battle of Helm’s Deep” scale epic war. And don’t worry, there will be plenty of fortresses to build and lead an army against.
Tackling Balrog without Gandalf? Just another day at the office!
Do you think only Gandalf the greatest wizard of Middle Earth can fight the great fire demon ‘Balrog’ and still live to tell the tale? The great news is, in Shadow of war, we are gonna lighten the burden of the great wise old man by fighting Balrog by ourselves. Let him peacefully smoke his pipe and make the smoke ring with some chubby Halflings. It’s not clear yet if Balrog can be converted to our ally after defeating him in the game.
Developers are going crazy with revealing features and stuff lately. And the game looks fantastic already. We are sure that some more interesting facts about the games will be revealed before its release on October 10th 2017.
