Well, I am not gonna lie- while making a list of some greatest video games of 2017 which shouldn’t be skipped; myself already missed 2 games- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Horizon Zero Dawn. The year 2017 is one of the golden years for the video games. There are so many great games coming but you don’t have much time to play all of these. But you don’t want to regret later skipping the best of the best, do you? So definitely you should try out those 5 awesome video games of 2017. 1. Mass Effect: Andromeda

   

   Despite its slow beginning and some poorly done facial animations, this game is a real jewel for all Mass effect hardcore fans and for wanna be spacefarers. If you like an RPG game with good shooter element, amazing exploration, space, memorable characters and most importantly the Mass Effect series flavor then you should definitely ignore reactions of the internet trolls and haters and play this game. After all, haters gonna hate, right? Don’t be get repulsed by the boring and slow beginning of the game. Just give the game a chance and then you will understand why the game is surely one of the insanely good video games of 2017.

2. Middle-earth: Shadow of War

   

   Who will be your next nemesis? Ûkbûk The Bone Collector or Zogdûs The Dwarf-Eater? Maybe you will able to forge a true friendship with Feldûsh the Diseased. Well, when Middle-earth: Shadow of War revealed, it was indeed a best possible surprise for the gamers. After a long time, its time embark on a hype train again. Since the first game of this series was one of the most epic games built on the Tolkienian Universe, so, definitely there are more hopes and expectations on this one. The developer already promised a deeper and more amazing nemesis system and, a larger and more detailed open world in this game. There will be many large battles and sieges like those were from Lord of the Ring’s trilogy movies between your followers and Sauron’s armies.

   This is the type of game which makes PC gamers sad and compels to buy a console. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the perfect open world game of all time. According to critics, all open world games should be like this one. Many video game critics considered giving legendary 10 out of 10 score to this game. Some even insist that if you have to buy a whole Nintendo Console just only to play this game, that’s totally worth it. It’s pretty safe to say that this game is not only one of the greatest video games of 2017 but one of the best games of all time.

4. Horizon Zero Dawn

   

   Another Console exclusive game of this year which makes me jealous to the console gamers. A beautiful world, strong storyline and equally strong side-quests- what we want more? I bet many PC gamers are thinking about buying a PS4 only for this game. Horizon Zero Down has a very quality story line-up, amazing gameplay, gorgeous open world, memorable characters, some very touching moments and best of all- The Witcher 3 like powerful side missions. And what can be more awesome than hunting and taming some awesome robotic beast in a game? It will be amazing if the developer considers releasing Horizon Zero Dawn on PC in future.

5. Resident Evil 7: Bio Hazard

   

   When all the Horror games had started to rely on some cheap generic jump-scares and sudden sound effects and dumped the idea of real innovation then this genre started to die out slowly. There are many horror game fans out there who really wanted a well designed, atmospheric and genuine horror game for a long time. After Kojima’s Psychological survival horror Silent Hills get canceled the hope for a perfect horror game was started to slowly fade out. But then Resident Evil VII: Biohazard arrived to reignite the hope. Surely this game is worth a shot for all gamers.
